Andrew DJ’ed at my coffee shoppe every Sunday from May 2023 to July 2024, came back every single Sunday (for months!) Saying I was happy is an understatement. The energy and positivity that he comes with would light up the room. We started having regulars come to hear his set and enjoy not only his music, but his mini performances behind the table! All types of people got into it, adults, kids, pets! Ever since Andrew left, there’s a small void and quietness during Sunday. Working with Andrew was an amazing experience! He gave me as the graphic designer full freedom and trust to create tshirt designs that fit his brand while telling compelling stories. Andrew has been a hip hop and movement teacher at Houston Chinese Youth Camp since 2018 and I can’t imagine the camp without him. He brings a refreshing mindset focused on the well-being, confidence and JOY of the campers, using music and rhythm – and most importantly, kindness and inclusion – to create moments and movements that you instantly want to be a part of. There’s something about Andrew you can’t put into words, but that you know the world needs more of.

Andrew has a unique gift in curating safe spaces for creative exploration. Music is a big part of that, but he also leads with a vulnerability and relational focus that inspires peace in artists. That peace is the first step in enjoying a time and space— and his music is the next.
